The Adams Street redevelopment project was begun by the Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority as a unique neighborhood solution. The blighted public housing row house development was located in a neighborhood that was deteriorating and infested with crime. The Adams Street Apartments and the Bunker Hill neighborhood was redeveloped through innovative planning, financing, abatement and the efforts of many partners into a jewel of a property to be owned by its residents.

The Adams Street Apartment Renovation received a BEST PRACTICE 2000 Award and NAHRO’s 2001 Agency Award of Merit.

LEED is an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is an internationally recognized organization providing certification of sustainable buildings. We at Stogner Architecture are able to provide building owners and operators a simplified framework for implementing sustainable solutions into their own projects. The end results are buildings that use less energy, cause less pollution, provide healthier environments to live and work in, and thus generate more productivity out of its occupants.
