Recource Center. Fayetteville Metropolitan Housing Authority. Fayetteville, NC. 

The Community Resource Center (8,162 SF facility) is a recently completed project for which we performed design and construction administration.  The building was designed and constructed to serve an adjacent Elderly Housing Development.  Interior spaces include an administrative wing with administrative offices and reception area to serve the daily business operation of the site.  An education wing includes two multi-purpose spaces with ceiling drop projection screens and projector.  A large community room is centralized between the two wings, directly off of the entry lobby, capable of accommodating just over 100 persons.  A light duty kitchen was located directly adjacent to the community room, complete with kitchen equipment, service counter and operable shutter to function independently of other spaces.

The exterior of the building includes materials to blend with the housing community. A heavy timber framing system was used to highlight and define the entry.
